FACT: Men and women of all ages affected, with the most common diagnosis being in younger women. ED's are very stigmatized in men.

MYTH: Eating disorders aren't that serious or dangerous
FACT: Eating disorders are very dangerous and serious, with many leading to life threatening consequences if not treated.

MYTH: You have to be underweight to have an eating disorder
FACT: Many people with eating disorders are not underweight, with the majority of people with ED's being average weight.
